BEST LOCATION TIGA is always investing in infrastructure; and in 1996, we moved to a new location in order to be closer to the industrial parks and closer to you. This new location is behind Panasonic and across the street from LG Electronics in Reynosa and on Carretera al Aeropuerto Km 1.2 in Nuevo Laredo (10 minutes away from the bridge). OTHER SERVICES In the second semester of 2001 we started operations dealing with the transportation of hazardous materials and hazardous waste both in Mexico and across into the U. S. due to requests by our clients to do so. Although this represented a well-received addition, we have yet to penetrate the local market in force. Another project in the works right now which we plan to see operational within next year is LTL service from Reynosa and Nuevo Laredo to Monterrey and back with pick up and delivery the same day to Industrial clients. For this, we have acquired four new straight trucks with 24-ft dry boxes with hydraulic lift gates. Our expectations for this project are high because of the lack of quality service in this market. COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Our communication system links our headquarters and your traffic department directly to the driver. This way the client always knows the exact status of its load to better coordinate the import/export operations. The reach of our radio system is about 60 miles because it is dedicated to border transfers. The reach of our satellite tracking system (Omnitracs) is nation-wide. 24 HOURS SERVICE Our management staff is at your service 24 hours a day including holidays and weekends. A list of phone numbers is provided to this effect. Administrative staff is at your service from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturdays. DRIVERS
All our drivers are thoroughly evaluated since the initial interview. To work in our organization, drivers must pass a drug-test when they are hired. A random 25% is tested again every three months to ensure that we have trustworthy individuals behind the wheel. Their work background is also screened and they undergo training where we emphasize our commitment to our clients and our way of doing operations. At the end, they are given their uniform which they proudly wear. DRIVING SCHOOL
TIGA is currently operating a driving school within our terminal. It is an ISO certified driving school, the first in the region and the third in the state, authorized by Mexico's DOT. This allows us to graduate new generations of better-trained drivers to perform their jobs in a region where the demand of drivers is high. This project also allows for drivers to become acquainted with our procedures from the beginning.
INTERCHANGE AGREEMENTS
Our organization has interchange agreements with several American freight carriers to allow for door-to-door service. Carriers like POINT, CELADON, CFI, DANNY HERMAN, CENTRAL FREIGHT LINES, SST, TCI and TRILEX place their trust on us to work together for the benefit of a client.
